Case management software

The Texas Department of Information Resources wants a contractor to provide software to handle administrative functions related to criminal justice and court cases. An RFP is expected in late April.

The software package should provide administrative support for law enforcement agencies, recording clerks, bond processes and probation offices. The software also should handle financial transactions.

Justice data system

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation wants a contractor to provide a system capable of sharing criminal justice information among state agencies. A request for proposals is expected in May.

The contractor should deliver a data-sharing system similar to the one in Utah so that Colorado can use open-source software from that project. The system will enable law enforcement employees throughout the state to access and analyze information stored in records management systems regardless of where they are located.

Electronic licensing needed

The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry wants a contractor to provide an electronic licensing system. An RFP is expected this summer.

The contractor should deliver a system that offers a scaleable framework for electronic licensing and permitting. The system should not only enable applicants to apply for and renew applications online, but also assist agencies in managing end-to-end licensing processes.
