Customer contact center

The Iowa Human Services Department wants a vendor to provide a full-service child support customer contact center. A request for proposal is expected in January or February. The vendor would operate and manage the center as well as provide technology necessary for an interactive voice response system, Web maintenance and enhancements, and phone service. The center will help improve delivery of child support services to nearly 650,000 citizens.

Incident command system

The Atlanta Aviation Department is seeking a vendor to assist the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with software for an incident command system. An RFP is expected in November. The vendor will provide software to help airport officials plan for and handle incidents and their aftermath.

Child support enforcement

The Missouri Social Services Department wants a vendor to provide a state disbursement unit for the Child Support Enforcement Division. An RFP is expected in October. The state wants a contractor in place by January.

Indiana seeks computer support

Indiana wants a vendor to provide standardized computing equipment and help desk support. An RFP is expected in November. The contractor would offer standard PC desktops, laptops and servers; deploy automated software; and perform help-desk support and maintenance for the hardware.

Electronic document system

The Indiana Environmental ManagementDepartment wants a vendor to implement an electronic document management system. An RFP is expected by January. The virtual file room to be built by the contractor will improve business operations by using imaging, intelligent data capture software, workflow and search and retrieval capabilities.
