Computer Sciences Corp. has won a contract to provide IT support services to the Naval Education and Training Command.

Computer Sciences Corp. won a four-year, $100 million contract to provide IT support services to the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC), the company announced today.

Under the new agreement, CSC of El Segundo, Calif., will support the SeaWarrior initiative by providing data center and systems operations, systems integration, security and information assurance services.

Teaming with CSC are TEK Systems of Baltimore; KForce of Herndon, Va.; and two 8a-certified companies: Global Business Solutions Inc. of Pensacola, Fla., and DOMA Technologies of Virginia Beach, Va.

Nearly 330 CSC systems integrators, subject matter experts, analysts, programmers and support staff will perform the work at various sites, including Pensacola, Fla., and more than 20 NETC satellite locations, including Norfolk, Va.; Great Lakes, Ill.; San Diego; Newport, R.I.; and Meridian, Miss.

CSC also will manage the Navy's Integrated Learning Environment and call center. The online learning environment is used by more than 480,000 sailors around the globe for distance learning, career enhancement and personal development.

The new agreement follows a previous four-year contract signed with the Navy in 2001 under which CSC provides IT network, Web and operations support services.
