Staff statewide use more than 65 providers, which causes problems when trying to resolve connectivity and billing issues. A request for proposals is expected in June. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health wants a vendor to provide a complaints-handling software solution. An RFP is expected in August.The system will serve the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, the Information Technology Division and Public Health's Division of Health Professions Licensure. It will let users create, capture, track, investigate and resolve complaints. It also will integrate with a new licensing solution being implemented for these agencies. Phoenix needs a geographic information system solution for the Phoenix Aviation Department. An RFP is expected in June. The vendor will buy and install hardware and software, develop GIS data, migrate data from applications, prepare GIS operation manuals for department staff, and develop applications such as environmental management, land information and cable and utility management for use in the department.The purchasing office for Bellingham, Wash., wants a vendor to provide an integrated payroll and human resources information system. An RFP is expected in June. The system should address benefits administration, history, time and attendance, employee self-service, employee training administration, dependent information and information on assets provided for employee use.
