Disabled vets get $5 billion GWAC
The General Services Administration this spring will release a $5 billion, 10-year governmentwide acquisition contract for service-disabled veteran-owned IT small businesses.
The multiple-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity Veterans Technology Services GWAC will have two functional areas: systems operations and maintenance, and information systems engineering. Both areas will include IT security.
GSA is developing and awarding the contract in partnership with the Veterans Affairs Department and the Small Business Administration. GSA expects to award the procurement in early 2006.
