Appointments

Robert McCord joined Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, as general manager of SAIC's Enterprise and Health Solutions business unit. McCord most recently was vice president of health services at Pearson Government Solutions.

Dr. M. Elisabeth Paté-Cornell, Management Science and Engineering chair at Stanford University, was elected to the board of trustees for Aerospace Corp., El Segundo, Calif.

John Tullie was named president and chief executive officer of crisis management software provider E Team Inc., Los Angeles. Tullie, most recently the company's vice president of worldwide sales, came to the company from the position of vice president of North American sales at software security provider Access360. E Team also named Lawrence Jordan to its board of directors.

NCI Information Systems Inc., Reston, Va., named J. Patrick McMahon, a partner with a specialty in government IT providers at law firm Barton, Baker, McMahon, Heldebrandt and Tolle LLP; and Daniel Young, managing partner of executive consultancy law firm Turnberry Group, to its board of directors.

Promotions

At Aerospace Corp., El Segundo, Calif.: Gary Hawkins to principal director of the space materials laboratory from distinguished scientist in the office of innovative materials; Gary Pulliam to the new position of vice president of the newly renamed civil and commercial operations, from general manager of the civil and commercial division; and Jana Roche to principal director of the systems engineering and technology directorate, Chantilly, Va., from systems director involved in acquisition of advanced national security space systems.

At E Team Inc., Los Angeles: Robert Patten to vice president from director; and Robert Shiverdecker to executive vice president from vice president.

At Sytex Inc., Eatontown, N.J.: Keith Maurer to senior director of command, control, communications tactical acquisition programs in the company's technical and management support group. Maurer joined the company in 2002.
