Motorola makes a pair of deals

Motorola Inc. will acquire Crisnet Inc. of Salt Lake City, and MeshNetworks Inc. of Maitland, Fla.

Crisnet is a provider of records management and related systems and will build on Motorola's customer and technology offerings for criminal justice and public safety software applications. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

MeshNetworks Inc. is a developer of mobile mesh networking technologies and will help Motorola in its efforts to offer more broadband wireless solutions. Terms of that deal also were not disclosed.
