Newstrom resigns: Virginia Secretary of Technology George Newstrom resigned Oct. 1 after two and a half years of service. He advocated an enterprise approach to IT and chaired the Virginia Information Technology Investment Board. The board recently developed a list of recommended IT projects for the governor and the state legislature. Newstrom was a long-time EDS Corp. employee.
