Small biz in line for Netcents

The Air Force this month revealed part of its plan for the multibillion-dollar Network Centric Solutions program at the Air Force IT Conference in Montgomery, Ala.

Officials said the service has issued letters of intent to award contracts for the $10 billion backbone procurement to four small businesses.

Companies that received the letters include Centech Group Inc., Arlington, Va.; Multimax Inc., Largo, Md.; NCI Information Systems Inc., Reston, Va.; and Telos Corp., Ashburn, Va. *
