Md. county starts online police recruiting

Peopleclick Inc., a provider of workforce management solutions, has implemented an application for Montgomery County, Md., that lets the county recruit police officers online.

The Web app is the latest to go live under a contract for an automated recruitment management system awarded last year to the Raleigh, N.C., company by the Montgomery County Office of Human Resources. The multiyear contract is worth $500,000.

The company's system integrates the work of recruiters and hiring managers to simplify, automate and track the hiring process.
