Northrop wins Army deal

	Northrop Grumman Corp. won a 10-year, $408 million contract from the Army for battle command and training support.

Northrop Grumman Corp. won a 10-year, $408 million contract from the Army for battle command and training support.

Northrop Grumman Information Technology of Herndon, Va., will provide planning and support for exercises that simulate command and control decision-making. The exercises are a major chunk of simulation support for the Army.

The company's team includes Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., McLean, Va., and Cubic Corp., San Diego. The work will be done at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., and at major Army command centers worldwide.
