Good times ahead? By 2008, state e-government spending will likely double over 2004 levels, according to a new report by Reston, Va., market research firm Input Inc. Spending on integration and consolidation of back-end systems will fuel the growth. E-gov spending peaked in fiscal 2002 at $700 million, then declined by about 60 percent over the next year.
