Robbins-Gioia nabs TSA purchase agreement

Robbins-Gioia has won one of three blanket purchase agreements that the Transportation Security Administration will award for program management support services, the company announced this week.

The Alexandria, Va.-based company also has been selected as the prime contractor on the BPA's first task order.

Under the 11-month, $999,000 order, Robbins-Gioia will provide program management support services for the agency's Acquisition and Program Management Support Division. The company will provide models, templates and mentoring to improve the effectiveness of TSA programs.

The five-year BPA has no maximum or minimum order or value.

Robbins-Gioia assisted TSA in rolling out security functions to 429 commercial airports after the agency was established, company officials said.

Robbins-Gioia has contracts with a number of federal agencies, including the Army, Air Force, Patent and Trademark Office and the departments of Agriculture, Homeland Security and Justice.
