AppointmentsJill Yacone Hopper has been appointed vice president of government relations at
SRA International Inc., Fairfax, Va., where she will help shape corporate policy and advise the company on legislative policy. Hopper comes to SRA from a similar position at Battelle Institute.
Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, Calif., chose Tom Anderson as president of its federal sector IT and science solutions division. He will direct work for the Federal Aviation Administration, NASA, the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration and the Transportation Department.
Lisa Martin, president of Leapfrog Solutions Inc., has been elected to a two-year term as secretary of the board of directors for industry association
Northern Virginia Technology Council. Martin has been a member of the council since 1998.
Teresa Fish has joined the
Electronics Industries Alliance in Arlington, Va., as director of corporate and government affairs. Fish will be EIA's key liaison in its policy dealings with the Bush Administration.
John-Henry Gross is now public-sector product manager at geographic information systems applications provider
MetaCarta Inc. The Cambridge, Mass., company also named two new partner managers:
Stephen Zeoli, charged with new and ongoing business for civilian federal agencies, and
Wayne Dickson, who will handle those duties for federal intelligence agency customers. MetaCarta supplies search software that bridges GIS and document-retrieval applications.
Cache database software maker
Intersystems Corp., Cambridge, Mass., has promoted four employees to vice president:
Joseph DeSantis directs object technology development;
Richard Deutsch oversees marketing operations;
Robert Nagle directs systems software development; and
John Paladino handles support, quality assurance, internal computer operations and customer education groups.
Retired Northrup Grumman Corp. executive
John Cook has been named president and chief operating officer of
Business Computer Applications Inc., Atlanta. The company is classified as a small disadvantaged business.
Mark Boster, former Justice Department deputy assistant attorney general for information resources management, is the new senior vice president and director of operations for the enterprise IT solutions practice of
IFC Consulting, Fairfax, Va.
