CSC meets FBI Trilogy mark

The FBI has moved one step closer to a fully modernized IT network environment with completion by Computer Sciences Corp. of the infrastructure deployment phase of the agency's multimillion-dollar computer system overhaul. The company has been criticized for delays and overruns on the program.

CSC of El Segundo, Calif., started work on the network modernization project after it inherited the Trilogy contract when it bought IT firm DynCorp last year. FBI agents now have access to new file, print and e-mail capabilities and new storage servers.
