DigitalNet closes UTA deal

DigitalNet Holdings Inc. has spent $25 million in cash to acquire User Technology Associates Inc., Arlington, Va.

The acquisition expands the Herndon, Va., company's customer base with homeland security agencies. UTA customers include the Defense Department, FBI, Homeland Security Department, Justice Department and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
