Digimarc wins Latvia deal

	The Road Traffic Safety Directorate of Latvia has tapped Digimarc Corp. to design, install and maintain a digital driver's license system.

The Road Traffic Safety Directorate of Latvia has tapped Digimarc Corp. to design, install and maintain a digital driver's license system.

Terms of the $9 million contract call for the Tualatin, Ore.-based company also to supply materials and enhanced security features, such as digital watermarking, a materials tracking and management system and inkjet printing technology to produce driver's licenses and learner permits for the Baltic country.
