Tyler buys Eden Systems

	Tyler Technologies Inc. acquired Eden Systems Inc., a provider of financial, personal and citizen services applications software for local governments. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Tyler Technologies Inc. acquired Eden Systems Inc., a provider of financial, personal and citizen services applications software for local governments. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Eden Systems of Renton, Wash., increases Tyler's presence in the western United States, said John Yeaman, president and chief executive officer of Tyler Technologies. Tyler of Dallas has about 1,230 employees and annual revenue of about $133.9 million.

Eden Systems' products offer Windows-based technology in a robust, scalable and easy-to-use system, according to Tyler. In addition to software, Eden provides related professional services and support.

Eden Systems has more than 160 installations nationwide and annual sales of about $12 million.
