N.C. county re-ups Dyntek for child support

Dyntek Inc. has won a contract renewal from New Hanover County, N.C., for child support services.

Dyntek Inc. has won a $7 million, four and one-half year contract renewal from New Hanover County, N.C., for child support services, the company announced Nov. 20.

Under the contract, Dyntek of Irvine, Calif., will continue to provide full-service child support program management for the county, including enforcement, collections and customer service.

Dyntek has collected more than $38 million in outstanding child support payments for county residents since January 2000, the company said.

New Hanover County, which has a population of more than 160,000, is located in the southeastern part of North Carolina. The county seat is Wilmington.

The company provides a wide range of services designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of child support programs, ranging from establishing paternity and carrying out child support orders to increasing collections and providing customer support.

Dyntek is a provider of technology and management solutions to state and local governments. The company has about 400 employees and annual sales of $83 million.
