Research firm targets feds

MAP ROI Systems Inc. has launched as a new market research firm, offering data on business opportunities and Web-based tools to guide contractors through the procurement process.

Chris Stahl, founder and chief executive officer of MAP ROI, said his team has decades of experience writing proposals and working with companies such as Lockheed Martin Corp. The company has compiled a database of existing proposals, from which customers can draw models to base their responses.

In addition to the federal market, MAP ROI will track contract opportunities at the state and local level as well as internationally. The company has 27 employees in its Sterling, Va., headquarters, an operation with seven employees in the Philippines and a sales presence in Guam, Stahl said.
