The Navy Exchange Service Command's Military Moving Center is adding communications products and services through Cox Communications Inc. in Hampton Roads, Va., and San Diego.

The moving center, launched in mid-July under a contract with Qcorps Residential Inc., is a Navy initiative to improve quality of life for military personnel and their families. It's designed to reduce the stress associated with frequent military relocations.

The moving center, which operates at no cost to the Navy, offers services through the Qcorps Resident Connection Service Network, enabling military personnel to order and manage home-related services at a central online location.

Through the moving center, Cox will offer local and long-distance telephone services, digital cable television and high-speed Internet services to about 140,000 military personnel living in the Hampton Roads and San Diego service areas.
