Jacobs wins $565 million contract

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., Tullahoma, Tenn., won an Army contract to provide support services for automation, data and voice communications, visual information, and records management to the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Ala. The 10-year contract has a value of $565 million.

Jacobs partners include Computing Technologies Inc., Fairfax, Va., and Erica Lane Enterprises Inc., Huntsville. The team will provide services in enterprise management, systems technology, applications technology, visual information products, operations support, general technical support, emergency operations and IT training.

The contract was won through Jacobs Sverdrup, a wholly owned subsidiary of Jacobs that specializes in engineering and technical services.
