CSC’s $145M ONE-NET award boosts Navy overseas network
Computer Sciences Corp. will support the Navy's overseas network, ONE-NET, under a contract that could be worth as much as $145 million.
Computer Sciences Corp. has won a Navy contract for overseas network support that could be worth as much as $145 million if all options are exercised, according to a Nov. 10 Defense Department announcement.
The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract calls for CSC to support the Fleet Cyber Forces’ operation and maintenance of the Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-NET) outside the continental United States.
The major functional areas of ONE-Net support include theater service desk support; network and systems operations; field support; information assurance; and network technical support, the DOD said.
The work, which with options is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2016, will be performed in Yokosuka, Atsugi, Sasebo, Okinawa and Misawa, Japan; Naples and Sigonella, Italy; Bahrain; Guam; Rota, Spain (4 percent); Korea; Soudan Bay, Greece; Diego Garcia and Singapore.
This contract was competitively procured, with seven offers received. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity.
