SAIC gets NASA program analysis work

Under a new contract, SAIC will provide assessment and analysis of existing and future NASA programs and projects.

Science Applications International Corp. will provide independent analysis and evaluation services to NASA for a select group of agency programs under a new contract that could be worth as much as $45 million over five years.

Under the contract, the company will provide assessment and analysis of existing and future NASA programs and projects, including space transportation systems, spacecraft and instruments, and aerospace research, NASA announced June 24.

SAIC will perform the work for NASA's Office of Program Analysis and Evaluation.

SAIC, of San Diego, ranks No. 5 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
